Born and raised in the Little Traverse Bay area, Ryan graduated from Harbor Springs High School and spent 22 years in the active US Army and National Guard. During that time, he moved out west, earned his degree and worked in management in the ski resort industry in the Lake Tahoe area, perfecting the trade of resort property management over the past 16 years.
Ryan recently returned to the northern Michigan area to raise his family in his hometown. He brings his resort-scale property management expertise and skills to the residential needs of homeowners in Emmet and Charlevoix counties. You can expect to find the same level of quality, customer service, and attention to detail as was demanded in some of the largest and most successful resorts in the nation.
Genisis Peters has deep roots in the north. Like so many year round residents, it began generations ago when his grandparents built a summer home in Menonaqua on Little Traverse Bay. The family still cherishes this legacy today. His parents built a home from the ground up in Good Hart where Genisis lived as a child and began learning the skills associated with home building and maintenance. Moving to Cincinnati rounded out Gen's early life where he graduated from Catholic High School and worked as a carpenter’s assistant on historic homes. Gen graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, which has been useful in working in the service industry.
Genisis is a long-term employee of Nubs Nob, where he has helped in all areas of this business that serves the winter sports community. Along with his passion for the ski industry, his love for the outdoors is present in every season. Genesis is supported by his wife Jessica Debord and their two daughters Izzy and Maddy, who, as a family, love this community .
Being in the cottage care business is a perfect fit for Gen who has skills in many critical arenas, from mechanics to carpentry, tile work, landscaping, and so much more. All these skills are employed when caring for homes and property. Gen has been self-employed in the home care business for 10 years and works with his partner, Ryan Bongiovanni.
